January 21, 2010 Nominations for Book and Article Awards FINAL CALLThe Missouri Conference on History seeks nominations for its annual book and article prizes. The Book Award will be given to the best volume on any historical topic written by a Missouri resident and published in 2009. The winner will receive a $500 prize. Articles eligible for nomination must relate to a Missouri history topic and have been published during 2009 (no restriction on residence of the author). The author of the winning article will receive a $250 prize. Three copies of each book or article should be mailed to: Gary R. Kremer The deadline for receipt of nominations is February 1, 2010. Prize for Best Student PaperThe Missouri Conference on History will present a $250 prize for the best student paper presented at the conference by a registered student participant. Students (undergraduate or graduate) who wish to be considered for the prize should submit an electronic version of the completed paper of between 3,000 and 4,000 words to: Gary R.
